New to growing

I am very eager to start. It's finally legal where I live plus I'm a medical user. I could have up to 12 plants at once legally, but where just my wife and I smoke I'm just keeping it to one. No matter what I'm growing I was planning on LST just cause of my size restriction. I have a 4 gallon planter to save some head room.

This is how I self water when I go outa town for a weeks or on holidays. I use 2 pumps for nutreint water in a 5gal pail and the other pump I use for ph water and then I use a timer to set them to when they need to be watered, and yes after 3-4days the nutes arnt in optium ph but it's better than if they dnt get nutes or water. Depending how long ur gone 9days and u wount have a problem ur feeding on day 9 ur ph wount be perfect but a slight case of pH problem is way better than no nutes/water (as the plant gets older it needs more nutes or deficincys will happen. Doesn't mean it wount grow it will just have definicys that affect the bud potenciy)
 
I don't want and deficiency problems. When I do get the plant today. How deep should I plant it in the new pot? Should I put my soil in there now? Would it be OK to lightly water it tonight and start the 18/6 light cycle in the morning as well as normal watering? Water twice a day?
 
Just trying to find a schedule that's gonna work with my kids and my job.
 
U should be able to just switch ur plant to ur sched within reason if the lights have to be off for the 1st 20hours that's prob not the best thing to do but if it's in reason I can't see why not. As for the soil make sure it's room temp and ur liquid is room temp so u dnt shock ur plant. As far as transplanting it u want to plant it as deep as the dirt u pull out of the other pot (be very gental!!!!) once planted give some liquid and let rest. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but after transplanting u want the lights off so the plant can rest unless it's on its regular sched. Also only water once in a day and dnt wanter until it needs it again
 
Do you know if it's feminized. Maybe you should put it on a 12/12 schedule already that way you will be able to harvest before you have to go on vacation..
 
I have actualy noticed increased growth for some reasons it's not much about 1/4-1/2inch a day more than usual also I found that if I add milk durling flower iv noticed the buds seem to grow faster as well. When I add it its 50/50 nutrient water to 3.25percent milk
 
I havnt had the buds from the plants yet for taste or anything yet but they seem to smell stronger idk if it's just me though lol its worth a shot :) if u give it a try let me know what ur exsperince is :)
 
I will be giving straight 2% milk to one of my autos tonight..fk it..see what happens...it will be my blackberry compt. plant
 
If you end up having trouble with smell or venting down the road, you might consider putting your carbon filter on the other side of the fan/light, like this.

Just because sometimes trying to push air isn't quite as effective as pulling the air. But if it works the way it's set up now, I wouldn't change anything! I like the saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
 
also white vinegar can also be used to pH down if you're in need of a "readily available anywhere/right now!!" option....

I went and got the plant except I came home with 2. I put one in the tent and am hoping it warms up soon so I can put the other one outside. Here is a picture of each one. I was told they are both females. Figured I didn't have enough room for both in the tent.

Very nice plant do u notice how long the stem is? The guy before his lights where way to far away! I personaly would put my light 12inchs above this plant and see how it does if leaves curl down or the bend or do anything weird move ur light higher nut at this stage u want ur light close so u dnt strech ur plant anymore.
