New to DMC

Just started my first hydro grow so far so good . Wondering how much air flow, Lots or a little? Does the air need to stay on 24/7 or on off with lights ?

Hey bud. I am on my 1st ever grow and I am doing DWC. The air stays on 24/7. You could run them with the light cycle for the 1st couple weeks. However, I would be afraid of falling into that habit and forgetting to change when the plants get bigger. I also ran my lights 24/7 the 1st 3 weeks. I still would be but I thought my plants didn't like it. Turned out it was the fan even though I had it pointed directly at the wall of my tent. I don't want to keep changing the light cycle so I left it be. Welcome to the forum. Ask loads of questions.

Welcome to the wonderful (yet more technical lol) world of DWC, CBD. Basically what Madman960 said. As far as air flow goes, I'd set it low/med at first so as to not swish around the delicate, young roots too much. As more roots start emerging from your medium/net pot, you can increase the air flow a bit at a time.

CBD, are you talking about a wall fan or the air pump for the bucket?
