New Strain

Never heard of "oh my Thai" Strain. Tell us more of this fantastic bean you have discovered. Was it in the jungles of Africa?
 
FenoHntr no I haven't but now you got me wanting to. It's a cross between Purple Thai and Pineapple Runtz with wicked high yields for an autoflower. ILGM are out of stock but Seedsman has them in stock.
 
I did the purple Thai last season and had one that grew like a tree and is now my favorite smoke but we’re sources from seed fair. Then I saw those OMT autos on ILGM and had to try. Must say that 10 of 10 beans have popped and up and running. First time with ILGM and must admit so far so good. I will keep posting through this grow. And hopefully be prepared to take a cut from any outstanding specimens like I should have last season with my purple Thai pheno. I’m just hopeful that I can run across another closer to authentic version of the old school Thai we used to see back in late 70 early 80s.
 
Do keep in mind , autos cannot be cloned. OK they can but, you cannot reveg them their clock is running and cannot be reset.
 
shadycon can get a zip for 40 to 50 bucks on the Rez up here in Northern NY with a punch card you buy 10 and get one free. Not bad for 2025!
 
I did not think about that with the auto flower cloning as this is my very first experience with them. Great point thanks for mentioning. I’ve also found one seed from the 10 oz that my purple Thai produced last grow. That seedling is now about 6 inches tall growing steadily. Does anyone know if for one that would guarantee female ? Second is would it produce similarly to its mother. As if a clone would ?? Any advice is appreciated.
 
The good old days were the Mexican weed for 40 a zip. However somewhere around that time the “ better “ weed started making its appearance. As well as the asking prices which is when I saw the cost skyrocketed. Also had the “ indica “ start to make its appearance. We were all used to the brown weed so seeing green buds for the first time was magical.
 
Depends on where the pollen came from, IF you had a hermie it would be female, IF it came from a nearby hermie it would be female, however IF there was a male nearby then 50/50 chance of male/female. Not knowing where the pollen came from, it could produce similar results as it's mother, but what if its daddy is a hemp plant (CBD)? Good luck!
 
I remember the dude said "we have been making a mistake, you have been getting kilos". "We are going to cut them in half and stay at $90 and call it a pound" still got 22 lids out of it. I was making 1.25 oz bags for $10, it was the beginning of the use of scales and higher prices.
