Wow! Didn’t expect to see first pistils after 2 days of flowering schedule. 😳🥳

Well… my friends, today happened a lot =)

swapped light, changed timer to flowering, defoliation, and watering 😎🤘 and was „wtf, that light looks like hot summer sun dawn“ ,but for cam the veg bulb was better (maybe personal feelings)

would be thankful about some advices….following…
the plants are transplanted into 19L (5 gal) Smartpots filled with Canna Terra Professional Plus at 6.5. (25days ago).
they should be fine for 4 weeks with nutrients. And then?
should I start with my FloraTrio at minimal doses, or just wait till plants show nutes deficiency?
just want the effective way, the plants are fast and hungry for sure. Guess, beginn with low dosage after week 4?
happy to hear some opinions =)

I also use the Flora trio for nutrients. I'm in hydro right now, but in the past when I grew in Coco Loco soil, I gave 1/2 strength Flora trio nutrients throughout the flowering stage with every watering (just half of what it recommends on the bottle) at around 6.5-6.9 pH. I always got runoff and removed it immediately to prevent nutrient buildup. My soil plants seemed to respond well to that. But every grow and type of soil is different. Plus it sounds like you recently transplanted to fresh soil, which I've never done before flowering, so I'm not sure how that affects required nutrient levels. Hopefully a more experienced soil grower chimes in.

I know what you mean about a flowering light vs a veg light. Veg lights make plants look like they're living their best life at the beach, and a flowering light makes them look like they're in the red light district lol If your camera/phone has "white level" or "color temperature" settings, sometimes you can adjust those to get the pictures to come out a more natural color.

I love your pistil pictures. They're so clear! Your plants were raring to go. And your scrog looks great! Just curious, what did you use to make the "net"? It almost looks like wire.

Hey MeowMeow, iam sorry, didn’t see your post, because first one on 2nd page, just checked only page one last time 🫣
thanks much for your thoughts.

nutes: i had ph‘ed watered for like 4 weeks (nutes in soil last around 4w), then I started using flora tripart at 50% strength in every watering (every 2 days around 2 L water per pot)
works well until now. For my first grow iam really happy, how it comes out, and for the experience I gained so far.
(transplant into soil was only the clones after 1 week hydro fails. The seeds were in soil from the beginning)

Light colours: 😂😂 so true, ‚like in an red district‘ 😅 gave me a nice laugh. Will check camera settings and experiment with them.

Scrog: I did just diy scrog with some wood, hooks and soft wire. The soft wire is intended for plants. It’s an thin wire covered with thick rubber. Already decided to change the scrog for next grow. Will try tomato rings next time. Every plant independent… moving around possible etc. just see more pros for it… actually the scrog seems more like a sog (sea of green). Its like an jungle, hard to control. Will just let grow for now, and after days just remove all the stuff below the branches which goes up to lovely sun-intimation.

€dit2: the wires sometimes break trough the rubber if bend strong. Looking for alternatives. These plastic clips which just bend stems seems useful. The best I have actually, are just thick wires from an strong power cable, which I cut and bend for my needs.

€dit3: guess the jungle cause I tried to get the clones and the seeds 2 weeks after to get on same level. Think I was too long in veg-stage. But interesting experience =)

in 1 hour the light goes on, and will post new photos ;) (with better light settings of camera hopefully)
They look great 😍🪴🍁

€dit1: with ‚transplant‘ I just mean I potted them from like 5l pots into 19l smartpots. And it wasn’t recently 😉

Update:
Shining Silver Haze Seeds: 10 weeks / 4 weeks Flowering
Amnesia Haze Clones: 13 weeks / 4 weeks Flowering

The buds starts get fatten up, and gets more and more trichomes 😍🍁🪴
The colors are not 100% clear cause of light. Pistils are white, leaves are healthy, dark green, in mid some limes (closer to light)

Thanks thanks! Iam happy for real!! Especially because first grow turns out so well…
Just had some gardening skills from working sometimes in garden for elder people. Just an small side income =)
I like to be outside in the nature. And had studied the gwe tuts for years, until I packs my balls and just started😎
Actually it’s an heat wave here, my home is under the roof, can get hot in there at summer. Tomorrow will be 39°Celsius outside….
Hope I can manage the temps… actually still under control, highest peaks are 30 in tent.
Glad I choose night time for lamp on. Guessed already hot summer, at daytime it would be real hell xD

That is fn awesome man!!!! I been talking with my wife about setting up a time lapse camera in my room but that there is great!
Best of luck with with the temp, keep the air flow up to them. Keep your eyes open for a portable AC unit that you can poke in the door of your tent or duct in.

Thanks! Well… it’s just cheap way of Timelapse. Just shoot regularly an photo at same angle, put them together in an slideshow/powerpoint app. Export it as gif, boom. Finished =)
Setting up an old webcam and connect it with an raspberry pi mini computer for taking the shots automatically is already on my bucket list. =) maybe next or 3rd grow x) enough want-to-do or upgrades on list 😎🤘
An AC unit is out of my range financially and economically (consumes lot power).
I will just keep an eye on the climate. Just only one day, and the temps will be dropping (finally!)
Had prepared a lot water in freezer, in case of temps jumping high, I will do an diy-AC unit… just simple, only 3 things needed…

Rogee, just don't make the same mistake I made before I got a AC. I was putting frozen bottles in the ducting from my air intake and hanging frozen towels in front of oscillating fans only as they melted and the bottles got condensation and the towels were just wet I was blowing water droplets onto the plants causing major water burn spots. :( mainly a cosmetic thing but still a issue to be avoided.

i like the pics. i threw out my cell when i stopped working. no need for it. but i'm gonna hafta report you and wayzee to the a/c police for fraud. won't h2o bottles raise the humidity?

Haha please officer I'm innocent.
Yea it would have been but at the time I wasn't worried about humidity, my room was hitting 34°c + in summer during flowering. Now I'm fighting the cold :/. Gotta get the timing better. I should add that was with DWC as well so you can imagine the trouble I was having with the resivour temp. PITA.

For me the diy ac is just in case of emergency, and it will be setted up in different room, like the ‚second lung room‘ ;)
If it’s hot, won’t care the humidity
Hope no need for it x)
