New KS5000 Vipar Spectra

You should be able to get that info from the manufacturer. Better yet download the Photone app. which uses the camera on your phone to measure light and take away the guess work. There was a discussion about it on this site not long ago

Available info with a quick search in a 4x4, 11" appears to be about ideal

EDIT. The above is the old model. Below is the new model ePAR map from the manufacturers website

According to the Vipar website 4x4 = 28" for vegging 16" for flowering. A great choice for a light. But you must pay close attention to your seedlings and teens i would tone down the brightness ( I've got a dial for my Viparspectra p2500 ) I use it and adjust it if i see the slightest yellowing. I've had it as low as 16" in flower but again watch the reaction to the tops of buds. I really like my 3 vipars and the manufactuor has been willing to help and will reply to questions at least for me they did. Best of luck

Thank you for this info. I have a Mars Hydro TS3000 that quit working after 6 months that I’d like to get going again but I can’t find a ballast (if that’s the problem) replacement. Would you have any suggestions?
Thanks again.
