New grower and plants have problems i csnt figure out

I've kept the pH around 6.5 and I've given all the recommended nutrients but for some reason my plants leaves keep turning colors and slowly dying please help if you can and let me know what is the cause of these nutrient deficiencies or Leaf problems... of the four pictures two are the same just one is under grow light and the other flashlight I would really appreciate any help you guys can provide thank you very much

I see good growth and the fan leaves are dying . Water can cause that look . What nutrients are you using? How do you do PH? And size light

They may be root bound. Can you give us a wider shot of the group as a whole?

Nutrients are seaweed extract some fish fertilizer and a bit of Dyna Gro veg I got a pH tester off Amazon I forget the brand but it was 60 bucks and had good reviews and right now they are in small Solo cups was waiting to transfer until I had sex them 2 of the 4 i have females and I've already transplanted to bigger pots with amended soil but that was only last night so will wait to see what happens on those too if they get better in the new pots and soil. And I didn't want to bother transplant males so that's why I was waiting . so hopefully the other two will show sex in a day or so so if they are female I can transplant them as well

How did the roots look from the recently transplanted? I hope that's all it is...

They were starting to circle the bottom of the cup but wasnt like a big knot or anything but they was nice and white not brown so i was hoping i did it in time to avoid rot or binding

For my second crop I have a batch of feminized seeds on the way and next time I'll be transplant much sooner for sure just didn't want to do all the work for them to turn out to be males

Yup, that circling is no bueno. It's probably what was responsible for the yellowing. Hoping it is!

Did you loosen up the roots before putting them in their new home?

A lil bit but to be honest was afraid to touch them bare handed heard that was bad and i dint have gooves at the time. If the root binding could be the cause of the colors then I hope that's it too because I've done everything from checking my nutes to water PH to soil pH ive ran out of ideas if this dont work. Is it really bad that I didn't listen to soil much? And thanks a lot for your time and help

I was taught to break off the roots that were circling. But that was flowers in my parents back yard. They always did well but I don't know if cannabis has a more delicate root system. I'd recommend loosening up the next time. You'll break a few roots in the process I'm sure but it should survive. Not for the feint of heart.

Just as reference, this is what a rootbound plant in a solo cup looks like Rootbound plants can get all kinds of deficiencies even if you're doing everything right!



I've always broken up the roots when re-planting houseplants, but when I do cannabis in solo cups I just put them in a pre-dug hole without disturbing them. If you do it that way it almost always prevents transplant shock (The pic is from one of our wonderful readers)

You plants do like they were a little big for solo cups, so I'm hoping the transplant perks them up!
