New Grow room

Lol, I suppose it's debatable. I've read 70, 75, 78, and 80.... depending what stage you're in of course. I'm at 73 and they seem to enjoy it more than the summer months, or maybe im just growing better now lol

Too funny, OJH! We had a swimming hole in the stream behind our house when I lived in VT. It was always "refreshing" but when I visited again 20+ years later I couldn't believe how much colder the water had gotten!!!

the therostat came in yesterday ,its installed and set at 70 degrees .I hope they are Happy with that cuse it would be to costly to raise it higher.
It was 63 in the room when I opened the door hooked it up closed the door for 5 minutes then checked 70 I had to adjust the differential temp I went with 2 degrees . then stayed in room until the thermostat shut down it worked , Now all I have to do is warm my Auto/Veg Tent up

I know you just bought a ceramic heater but have you thought about an oil filled radiator type space heater instead? There was a post a week ago asking if light from ceramic heaters would effect bloom. I don't think the question was answered but I use one of the "radiator" type heaters in my uninsulated sun room and it works fine and efficient as far as space heaters go. I'm not real comfortable with an unsupervised ceramic heater but that's just me. Be safe out there!

Ya Pura I cant help but feeling the same way about leaving it unattended. I’m sure many people do it without event but it scares me. Mine says keep all combustibles from 3’ radius around heater and in a 4’x4’ tent that would be just about impossible

Yeah, I agree with the above from PuravidaC and BlueBudz. I was thinking the exact same thing, and a little concerned about the ceramic heater. As I wrote above, I have one of the oil-filled radiators in my grow room, and I would not leave any other kind of heater unattended...

it sitting on cement at least 6 inches away from everything and will automatically shut off if it tips over,I used one of those oil filled radiator before it was expensive and slow with the ceramic it comes on heats up and shuts down , I am still playing with the setting on the heater but yesterday the room was 70 with a high of 75 so I turned the heater down to half way and see what that does, I have a 2 degree differential setting on the thermostat so it cycled pretty quick although I dont know how it works when the light is off . I think I will check it before the lights come on in the morning I'm usually up before they go on .

every year I bake cookies with 5 of our grand kids that day was yesterday we made cookies for both sets of grandparents and great grandparents in the hospital, both parents, and enough for the family Christmas party today , when they asked if they could do one for me I said I could only have one cookie, gotta love them grand kids

Hey OJH, that ceramic one sounds like a good one, does it cost much to run those ceramic heaters, ? I'd still be careful till you get used to it.
I tell you what I'm ready for is some spring time weather, where your humidity an sh-t is about normal, all I got growing they young an that damn humidity staying to low for them young plants to half-ass grow right. I'm ready for the ground to warm up.

I hear ya D.A.S.S.69. My seedlings are growing painfully slow right now. Humidity was at 25% cause they were in the same room as my almost done flowering plants. Now I have a humidifier running full time but only got RH up to 45%. Temp at night is like 64-68 degrees and 72-79 during day.

So I harvested a kush bomb yesterday do to suspected WPM ,it had the looks but not the right symptoms,IDK it had fans on it humidity under 50 ,it should not have been there , Usually you see faint white film on the whole leaf this just had it up buy the bud and it had it on bottom of some leaves and it was not a light film it was like it went from not being there to WTF over night, maybe it was super trics lol

That's how it starts, just a patch on a leaf. I did some research on it, read that kush plants are very susceptible to pm. If it spreads it becomes a serious battle to get rid of.

Yeah, an it ain't easy to get rid of if it spread. You can try the best you can to prevent it, but your still liable to get something, its almost got to be perfect conditions to grow a nice plant.

I've had to deal with it before and it is a real pain in the ass ,none of the other 9 week plants are showing any signs and if they do I will harvest, one of the 3 week bloom plants was just starting to show so I sprayed it with Neem oil. After I harvest the other 5 plants that almost ready just waiting for bud swell to happen, I will spray all of the other plants in bloom room , One thing I did find was that WPM glows in led light when my hps was away from the plant you could really see where the WPM was
