New Grow room

Plan on a 10 by 10 and then build a 20 by 20. Originally bought one 4 by 4 by 7 ⛺. Then I built a 6 by 12 by 8 room. Still wasn't enough so we built a 14 by 6 by 8 room, damn it man if I would have just built one big room that's what happens when you smoke too much. 💨

How's the climate in there? I built my room in my garage. I didn't think a tent would hold the temperature well enough. I really tend to overbuild, so my wife kept me on budget. If I could afford to go all out and build in a space like you have I would do it. It will outlast a tent and be more efficient. Not to mention durable and can be modified to suit your needs.

On the other hand, you have used a tent in there with success already. Would the cost of the tent in relation to how long it lasts be worth it to replace down the road. (Is it cheap enough to keep replacing?) Why didn't I just type that in first place? Lol

good questions kid it was a tough decision but the old tent lasted 4 years or so and it still will work but light will get in do to open sippers ,A new tent is $260 the materials for the new room will run about $360 I have a door and insulation(thats why I have so much shit never throw it out). its nice in the cellar stays about 70s in winter and high 70s in summer but I'm insulating the walls to keep the brick from wicking cold in ,and hopefully maintain a more even temp for the girls
 
ceiling is about ready for sheet rock I only had to build down on two beams one beam I had to fill in two and 2 1/4 inches and the other 4 inches . I have to install some more fur strip around the chimney jut . it lookes like the perfect shelve area or a great little nook for Autos . all in all i will have 12 feet instead of 8 long and 7'3" wide instead of 55" the extra width will enable me to work around the plants instead of pulling them out to trim or flush. I also gained 10" height . I purchased a light mover for the hps and the leds will be mounted on the walls dam now im getting excited lol
 
So for a hundred dollars more (and your labor) you build a permanent solution. $62.50 per year for tents(at $260/tent every 4 years) expense on top of the other costs we encounter to grow. For me its an easy equation. I would build. But a few minutes to pop up a tent in comparison sure has it's appeal. I know either way you raise some mighty fine flowers in there. 👍 Have a good day OJH.

If your LEDS are small you could consider an angle bracket and mount on the HPS hood so it's balanced and move it all with your mover. 😉 I plan 4 300w LED's connected to my 1000 HPS with about 30" of travel in my 96" tent ( I just need 2 more LED's and a mover 😁).
