After seeing the crazy results all you badass growers get from training your plants, I've decided to journal my new grow and put some new techniques to work and see if I can grow a cola monster! 
I've sprouted 2 Blackjack seeds and 3 Glue Crack seeds in solo cups with FFOF soil, under a Roleadro 300w full spectrum LED. They will eventually end up in 5 gallon smart pots full of a mix of FFOF, coir, and perlite. I'll be using some earthworm castings and Happy Frog fertilizer in the medium to start with, and FF nutrients along with some blackstrap molasses throughout. They'll veg and flower under a 400 watt CMH in a 4×4 tent. I've never attempted a serious manifold before, usually I just top anywhere from 1-4 times and let them grow straight up, but I want to try filling my canopy with 5 plants instead of 10. I've also never used coir, but I like the idea of more air to the roots. Same goes for the smart pots, for the same reason. I'll continue defoliating at the same rate, as I'm happy with previous results. So there it is! Hope I get to share some nice pics and news with you guys and gals First up is a baby pic!
