Need to transplant soon..but

Got the soil in the pot and wonder if I need more? Right now it's about 18" deep and the pot is 22" across. Another question is if I can use water from the faucet or should I use distilled water and anything else I need to do?

Fill it full of soil - watering and gravity will bring the level down - use tap water. Test it everytime for the right pH.

Just tested the pH level straight from the tap and it is just a tad over 6.5 which I believe is good.

Every time - after a rainfall here tap water pH shoots up over 7.5 or more.
