Hey All, took advise on harvesting half then the other. Thanks! Now I have hung, for 7 days, smoked some it was terrible taste and dont smell like weed:frown:, now its been two weeks 1 week drying and 1 week in jar that dont taste to bad, buzz is a little better. First plant guess I can't expect much. Got over 2 oz. off it. I know i didn't have the best soil, probably didn't flush enough, I guess. 1/25/2017 planted two auto and one skunk in rapid rooters(1st time) and all have sprouted and now the question Is Happy Frog a good soil? Or what is a good one? Also, I have 400watt dimmable blast with the first grow i had it turned all the way up and woke up to burnt seedlings so from then on I use it on 50% what does that mean and how should I use. I grow in a 4x4x80 grow tent , 400 watt MH and Hp lights, soil (???) Will the buds get better as time goes on in the jars? Thanks for any and ALL ADVISE Hopefully better buzz this time:cool:

Welcome 1KrazeAssKat,
It gets better the longer it cures. My harvest from 7/27/2016 is just marvelous! Unfortunately, I'm down to my last 1/4 oz. and the current grow is still 2 - 3 weeks out to harvest. You can do a few things to get around the curing time by getting rid of the 'green' plant matter thru different extraction methods like dry ice, solvents (alcohol or butane), or ice water. There are some disadvantages to extraction, especially if you enjoy the taste and aroma of smoking the bud.
Good luck and enjoy!

Fox farms happy frog is a great soil. I use it mixed with 1/4 perlite. Its pretty "hot" for seedlings but nothing too harmful. Probably won't need nutes till after a month of two.

about the curing. Yes the buds will continue to get better and better for two or three months. Overtime you will find patience to be the hardest part. Have a great grow

Like 9, I use Fox Farm's Happy Frog but I mix it with Fox Farm's Ocean Forest and I don't add nutes until I make the 12/12 flip. Since switching to Fox Farms soils, my grows have greatly improved.
