SOIL Need help!

I've been vegging for 1 month straight as of today. I just started the 12/12 cycle tonight so they've been off for a few hours but I fear I should have let them grown longer in veg 1rst. Also I've read they should be in darkness for 24 or 36 hours straight before switching to 12/12 ? I don't think they're anywhere near big enough to start flowering yet but by the time I get a response it'll possibly be too late!?

When I switch to 12'12, I don't care anything about keeping them in the dark 2-3days, I just switch the light.
Its that easy. When you think the are big enough, switch the light to 12-12, if you dont think they are big enough, veg them longer.
Nothing hard about it, if you dont watch it, you will read some bad information,
I would stick with what is proven. I don't know of anyone on GWE, that would intentionally give you bad information.
I couldn't sleep at night, knowing I caused a grower a problem.
They are your plants if you want them larger ,veg longer.
That's why I tell new growers to start with autoflowers, until they catch on to how to grow.

NO DOUBT! Next year will be easier no doubt this has been one hell of a learning curve... I think they've been stressed out between the transplants or the two weeks at 18 hours instead of 24 .. I don't know but one plant is four times bigger than another I just don't know what to do!? Should I put mixing solution of hydrogen peroxide and water to cure the p.m. instead of feeding it my regular foxfarm nutes tomorrow?

Get your humidity down, and have a good breeze blowing, Have you read Nebulas advice on wpm, ? If not ,that's all I know to tell you, she mentions at least 5-10 different ways to stop that wpm, and that's not hard either to correct, But I would read what she says, and quit worrying ,thats not gonna help anything.
Plus you can't expect a record crop ,from your first grow or two.
I'd suggest that you smoke a joint. And chill out, everything is gonna be all right.
Matter of fact, I'm thru for the night, it's time to burn down the Mission, like EltonJohn says, with a big fatty, Good luck, stop worrying. That will make you an old man.

Most Plants will double in size. If you’re growing indoors your space is limited not only in square footage but height. First do research on the strain and get an okay idea on how much stretch that strain does in its first few weeks of flower. It should be anywhere from double to triple the height in growth. If you don’t know the strain aim for the plant to double in size it’s a good benchmark.

Ill break it down. To make things easy I’m goin to use simple numbers. Let’s say you have 5 feet from soil level to the glass on your light at maximum height. You’re lights specifications say (theoretically not exact numbers at ALL I’m in a rush) it’s required to keep a 1 foot distance from the plant. That means you have 4 feet of vertical grow space. And would mean you would let your plants grow to 2 feet tall before making the flip. They would reach up the next 2 feet during flower and finish around 4 feet tall...

distance from soil soil to light at its highest setting= A

light height specifications= B

vegetative height goal= C

(A-B)âž—2=C

IslandColas, I've told him that a couple of times already, I think he is just concerned a little to much, it's gonna be ok.123, get you some rest ,and quit worrying. Lol
