Need help with nutrients, can i use cow/sheep manure?

This Summer i would like to grow my own weed for the first time. I was reading a lot of guides and stuff but i find them way too complicated and i would just like something simple and cheap i plan to grow outdoors with like 10 plants in 30 gallon pots and i read that some people use 50% cow manure 50% normal soil if that works that would be best for me, so let me know if you have experience with cow,sheep, or horse manure thats realy easy to get here. also if there is some more nutrients i could give them just tell me.

I use horse manure that has been on the ground for a year. Coe or shhep would also be acceptable as long as its older too. You just dont want manure fertilizers to be too fresh. They tend to be too hot for plants if not aged. They also improve the texture of most soils by making them lighter and more free draining.

Alright Thanks! also how much should i put into 30 gallon pot? maybe 80%soil 20% manure? cause i dont realy know

Snakey That seems like a reasonable percentage to me. You should also look at coco or peat in about the same percentage as the manure to improve texture. Compost would also work. my soil mixture is only about 50 percent soil. So if you added 20 percent soil and 20 percent compost or peat, you will be golden. Just remember that that poop has to be aged !!! Go get em and let us know how you do !
