Ladybugs seem to be effective if you dont want to use neem oil or soaps. It all depends on scope of infestation, flower or veg and i guess if you are growing indoors you may not want to let loose a couple hundred ladybugs lol. Ive never had aphids in my grow tents (knock on wood) but have used both the soap and ladybugs in my back yard, tho im not growing weed there. Sry was going to post more than the link but had someone at the door

they are 7 feet and into 7 week of flowering i would hate to loose them, is soap something you buy or make?

You can find a link to some soap in that first link i provided. It's down further past all the pics of aphids on plants. There, it also has other ways to fight aphids, though if you are flowering you really have to be careful. I would research for what is safe to use during flower, but be warned sometimes they actually get into the buds and thats bad. I read an article of a guy who treated his plants, thought they were gone and harvested to find that the aphids were also in the buds as well.
