Need advice to clone.

I have tried cloning twice with no success. Every time I read something you get 10 different ways it can be done. I used a Clone machine and cloning powder as well as clonex. Any helpful tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I clone using only clean bottled water. I guess my advice would be keep it as clean as possible. The health of the mother plant is also a big factor

Currently I use PHed Brita-filtered water, a humidity dome and rooting powder with my regular soil (FFOF). Roots take a while with the powder but eventually it establishes itself.

...and I may have inadvertently made a water clone as well. At least it's still going strong after 4 days.
