Nebula's Auto Grow findings

Okay - I'm an autoflower grower as well. I have been growing for a little over a year now. So by definition I would consider myself a newbie. But I find it interesting to look at the auto grow that Nebula is doing right now and her findings. It is truly interesting to find out that topping her auto flowering plants may be making them go into flower sooner than it would otherwise go. I have always topped my autoflowers. There was one this summer on an outdoor grow that I didn't top but I didn't see that much of a difference in the yield of that plant versus the ones that were topped. I continue to top all of my plants - especially indoors due to my tent only being 4' tall. Just an interesting observation I thought...

Plants are now at day 45. Pure Red Auto CBD from Sweet Seeds. I am truly hoping the buds come out red like the picture on the website. One of the main reasons I bought this breed...

Looks like you got the purple pheno. They will only get darker. I grew their bloody skunk and one of the three went all purps and smelled like grape bubble gum. Love some sweet seeds.

Humm. I hope not. Supposed to bud into a red color per the website photo. But I have read on the site that sometimes you get the color and sometimes you don't. So we will just wait and see. If it turns out purple I would be happy with that as well. Thanks for writing in!

Per the website this is supposed to be the color of the buds. Of course I will just have to wait and see...

I'd say if it hasn't started showing the color yet it won't at that stage. Personally I don't grow based on the look of the plant or the smell...I just look for potency and ease of growing in particular strains. Ultimately the plan gets chopped and burned or eaten so it matter not how pretty she is...as the saying goes "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
