My spider mite solution(?)

If any y'all did not see my spider mite issue in my Driving Miss Bessie thread, here it is.
I did a little research on heat to get rid of SM's with heat. That was a big no-go. I would pretty much have to burn the plants. Then I got to looking around and realized a lack of circulation even with four fans up top.
Well, I found them on Sunday, yeah? Well, I spent a little time defoliating and swiping leaves between fingers to swipe leaves I did not want to remove. Then I put a couple Hurricane fans at soil level, aimed at the back plants where I found the SM's and I have not seen any more SM's on any plants.
Either I got lucky and caught it before it got too bad or the fans make for a bad SM environment.
I'll keep looking but am cautiously hopeful I will not find any more.

They hate soapy water.

That's my outdoor GOTO fix for everything.

One day it won't work then I'll be screwed.

I am not down with spraying anything that leaves residue on my buds.
In the past I have used vinegar with good results. No residual taste.

I'm so glad you did'nt toss this grow. I know they are bad or creepy to have. But in all honesty i've probley smoked them and dried up other minute pests since i began smoking weed in early 70's. And you all thought that " pop " sound burnt was a seed LOL nope not always. :funny:

How is Dabber a boy's name? Have you ever heard of a boy or girl named Dabber? Don't put your sex on my dog! It's not like Terry or Jerry or Chris, et al. Go have a Snickers. Go have a beer from the newest microbrew in the country.
Norwegian death bugs. Aphids are common peoples' bugs.

Listen, you meatheads. Dabber is a unique name for whatever I want it to be. People name their goddamn plants! I am an fucking American army veteran!!!
There is some real hostility going on, man. I've had Dabber longer than I've been on this forum and neither my nor my dog's sex has ever come up.
Hostility, man.

This thread has got me wondering if several praying mantis might take care of a small aphid problem. It can work in the garden maybe in the tent too. They are sometimes available at nurseries.

I wonder if geckos might go well in a tent. I cant see how they would hurt any

A full size Tokay Gecko. Had them in my house when I lived in SE Asia....awesome! Aphids may be a bit small for them
