So I have two strains at the same age.
One is Cinderella 99 other Hollywood OG.
I'm wondering if it says the Cindy 99 plant I have can start to flower/bud at 18" tall. So does that mean I can start the 12hr lights from 15hr now.
When she is 18" tall or can I wait until she is 20" or lil bigger before I change/switch her light.
She's under a 100Watt Led Vivosun light.
She's with a Hollywood OG plant too.
And I am putting the Hollywood OG outside when May 25th comes.
Or should can they start too flower/bud when I switch the Cindy 99 plant?

are they both photo or auto? i don't think height has anything to do with when they start to flower, where did you read that
 
I read where the Cinderella 99 I can start to bud when it's 18" tall.
And my Hollywood OG in putting outside will bud in October.
But I was wondering if I can have them both bud at same time or what.
Should I just grow the Cinderella 99 inside and put my Hollywood OG outside.
This is all I'm wanting to know.?
 
Tall has nothing to do with flowering/budding, for an auto its age many start flowering at 3-5 weeks old while others may start at 5-8 weeks old making larger plants. Photos start when the light cycles grows short and the dark grows long (12/12s). IF they are both photos then when you flip the lights to 12/12s they will go into flower mode (takes about 14 days), autos do what autos do and you have no control.
Are they autos or photos?
IF you purchased clones then they are photos, IF you purchased seedlings they could be either.
Did you purchase clones or seedlings?
Inside verses outside, I grow mostly outside (from seed) the last 2 years have had flowering start even at 14/10. Outside one has to deal with pests, wind, rain, to hot, to dry, to wet, thieves etc..
IF they are photos you can flip to 12/12s at 3-5 weeks old, again tall has nothing to do with flowering.
IF autos, most run lights at 20/4 or 18/6 the entire grow. Autos can also be grown outside, but may not yield as heavy as they would have inside under well controlled conditions.
 
I then assume they are photo.
Because I bought them both as clones that were about 7 inches at the time. Now both are about 13".
And I have them on from 7am until about 10pm.
What should I do?
I don't know when I switch them to 12hr?
What's your recommendation?
 
I hope they are photo, because I'd love too keep two plants under my 100 Watt LED lights instead of one inside and putting one outside. I think I may get 8 ozs from two plants inside. So I hope they are photo so I can at 20" tall turn them to 12hr or make sure they bothe get big.
One is indica other is sativa so I'm hoping this will be good outcome. My first grow inside ever. So we'll see.
 
Yes you can flip them now, or wait for them to get a bit bigger for a bigger yield. You should read up on LST, topping, defoliating etc..

Really I can start them now.
I think I may wait a week or two maybe.
Because I want them to get big. But yeah I have them under a 100 Watt LED light from Vivosun. So I can flip them anytime Now?
I might wait. One more week or two. Then flip them....
 
With only a 100w light I'd be flopping to 12/12 sooner rather than later. Expect around 6oz yield if you do really well. Your light is the issue
 
See how big they are now.
About 13" tall.
When should I turn 12/12hr?
At about 20" or 24".
And this isy first time growing indoors.
I bought a cheap little light. That seems be working Great Now.
So yes I don't expect much about 3ozs from each plant.
As long as I get more than 7grams I'll be happy.
I have my medical MJ card.
So I smoke much better MJ than recreational.
So I'm only doing this for fun.
And I want my house to smell like weed to annoy my neighbors this summer lol.
 
Yes I will turn them too 12/12hr today/night.
Because they are in my bedroom and the led light is so effin bright it's hard to sleep at night time. Cause I turn them off at 10pm.
But now I can turn them on at 8am and off at 8pm.
And I have piece of drywall and parking sign blocking the light from my eyes in my bedroom.
But I will be moving out this month.
So should not be too much of a problem....

Dark also means total dark no light leaks!
