I have always grown with LED's- initially with MarsHydro 300w- I had (surprisingly) reasonable quantity/quality buds.
Jan 2019 - I began growing with Opticxl/ChilledLogic along with a MarsHydro Reflector48 expecting a huge boost to quality/quantity "right out of the gate", because I know how to grow under LED's (right??, lol).
There was very little info on suggested hanging heights, that was backup with meaurements. But hey, I know how to grow under LED's- RIGHT, LOL
All plants were stunted, had low yields and ugly plants to say the least:
This plant looked like a head of broccoli on the outside and cauliflower on the inside- with stark white buds! (50g dried) but a great smoke so I was willing to try again.
It's 10 months later, with each grow getting better.
I grow with Opticxl and Chilledlogic @ 200w total for a 2x4x6 tent- no blurples
So I grew another from the same seed pack (Auto ONYX)
It's harvest week and she is a good candidate for staged harvest.
It took a few grows for me to adjust to the new lights, but I think I have paid my dues!
Stage 2 chopped and into dry tent.
I will post the final yield here ->>> 164.9g.
What's your experience when switching lights?
