Mutant Gazzurple cut

Check out this mutant clone I just got from a friend! He popped a handful of Gazzurple seeds and got one of these. I have no idea what it will flower like but I'm excited to find out.

It very well could be that someone mixed up seeds and accidentally sent my friend a Freak show seed. But when you think about it, the Freak show strain had a different name before someone popped the seed that turned out to be the crazy pheno that was later re-named to better suit the oddity which it was. If one strain can do it, I would be willing to bet it's not alone. The fern-like trait is buried in the genetics of some cannabis strains and will show up here and there depending on environment and whatnot.

I think the "Freakshow" mutation is one of those mutations that just pops up randomly. Like how plants grow buds at the base of each leaf, or some plants grow with three leaves per node.

It looks so cool, like a fern that grows weed. I hope I get one some day.

Did that seedling look odd from the beginning, or did the leaves start looking like that after a time?

Gut by the name shapeshifter isolated the mutant gene and refined it into what is now called freakshow. He collaborated with Humboldt seed company and released it and supafreak a few years ago. He got exclusive rights back and now sells it and multiple variations on his site celestial seeds. There are a ton of crosses of her but many are finding out the mutation gene is recessive therefore very difficult to replicate. Grew it a few times. Great pineapple smell and doesn't mind high humidity. Meh smoke though. A little too speedy for me.

I guess It started out normal.....ish. It was a runt. It grew slow and twisted and really struggled to survive. Most people would have culled it right away. Then it started to take off and grew the fern like leaves.
