MSN artical on cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome

Never heard of it either. Dontknownuttin brought it up too. Unregulated pesticide and fertilizer use by pot growers, who knows what we've been smoking for the last 60 years? What nasty compound has been building up in our systems? That's my first thought. The increase in er visits is probably due to the fact they won't risk jail in Colorado anymore. Here in Oregon we have brand new badass extensive pesticide testing guidelines now, I'd be curious to revisit this subject in a year or two and compare it to Colorado.
 
Wow, never heard of such a thing!! Back in the day, I was fortunate to have good connections, I guess. Maybe some folks are allergic to cannabis... But kidney failure from smokin weed??????????

yes kidney failure, seems a bit over the top to me. and why are we just hearing of this now?

Jeff Sessions must have a hand in this some how.

with all the medical research going on, I would think that someone somewhere knows the truth.

Millions are being invested in legalization, and medical use so this must of come up before if it is true.
 
Ain't it great !! Doctors keep coming up with new things to cure. Got to get their 15 minutes of fame. Shit make you sick ? Don't do it ! I been smoking daily longer than that doc's been alive. Grow in health brothers !!

total BS the give away was when the guy on T.V. said when he quit smoking weed he got his ambition back, he did not say anything about not puking all the time as he was when smoking weed.
 
Suspicious new story...and makes me more cautious of what I learn from some "news" media. Just because they can use the word endocannabinoid doesn't mean it's true! 🐒
 
my state just became legal. once they got the signatures to put it on the ballot all the anti pots came out of the woodwork with reams of bs studies from so called "experts". funny how paid "experts" seem to come up with results that fit your beliefs
 
And it's been like that since Tricky Dick(head) ignored all the evidence that cannabis was not harmful and made it a substance I drug. One of my theories is that people like Nixon, who are terrified at the thought of expanding the mind, opening the doors of perception, letting go of control, DON'T WANT ANYONE ELSE HAVING ANY FUN. Misery loves company.
 
I posted on the other thread about this issue that it is scarey. The first thing that came to my mind was, I wonder if the Boveda packs have anything to do with it? Was she smoking dispensary weed? I guess she doesn't grow her own. I would really like to see the stats on whether it's dispensary weed or includes home-grown weed... I'm just a little paranoid about what might be going on at the dispensaries...
 
Drug companies don't want us using Marijuana we won't spend millions on drugs that hurt us in every way they can. Don't repeat this propaganda it just perpetuates drug companies hold on us. Now with Medical being forced on us we need to fight back, they do not know what is good for me.
 
Agree 100%. I think big pharma is in cahoots with a lot of the food producers and fast food as well, and it's their goal to keep the American people as sick and unhealthy as they can. And doctors buy into the same crap. You are absolutely right, Karlee: they don't know what's good for us, and they love to push a lot of harmful stuff on us.
