Moving Veging plants to 12/12 for three days only?

My 18/6 veg room is my guest bath tub and I'm having a lot of company for the Xmas holidaze. I need to hide 9 clones in 2 gallon pots for three days. My flower room is in a closet of a 4th bedroom that can be seal and locked to keep people out and light and smells in. I have 3 plants in my flower room but I'm going to have to squeeze the 9 veging plants in the 12/12 room for 3 days. Will this cause any real problems to the plants? I expect to flip the veg plants in 2-3 weeks.

You'll most likely have 12 flowering ladies after the holidays! Went camping this summer, power outage while gone, came back 3 days later and everyone was rocking new budlets.

Dang! Not what I wanted to hear. However, it's been my experience that it takes a week or more before the flowering starts? So you think that even after moving them back to 18/6 they will continue to flower?

Would it be better to switch the flower room schedule to 18/6 for three days? Two of the three flowering plants are within 1-2 weeks from harvest and the third is about a month from harvest.

NO, don't switch the flower room to accommodate the vegging. You can put vegging plants under 12/12 to force them to show their sex (if growing regular seeds) and then switch back to vegging. Essentially that is what you would be doing. You may get a little bit of weird leaf development after putting back to your 18/6 schedule, but they will straighten themselves out and readjust to vegging. There is a GWE article about doing this.

Dunno man. It's the switch to 12/12 that gets them flowering. From what I've read it could turn them into hermaphrodite or they might start producing seeds while in flower. And from what I saw this summer on my plants , those girls were not going to revert. Any way you can hang black visqueen in between them?

A question - how far along are your flowering plants? If quite advanced, maybe the extra light won't hurt them.......I'm really not sure about this though.

Here is another question, are your veg plants enclosed in a light proof tent in the room? If so, just move your vegging plants into the room but not into the tent. Vegging plants usually don't have that strong an odor yet.

That is actually occurred to me, too! It's not an ideal option. But to answer your other questions: 2 of the plants will be ready to harvest in 1 to 2 weeks. The 3rd in maybe 4 weeks. I don't have a light proof tent or any other way to separate the plants. Odors are too strong, candles will be enough. Thanks

I wish I'd planned ahead, I like the wardrobe box idea. I moved the plants back to the tub this morning and I hope there will be no ill effects.
