Moving from soil to hydroponics

I have a bubbletronics hydro system set up right now. I have a opportunity to get a established in veg plant that is in soil.

Can I move a soil plant about 1 foot tall currently in a dixie cup to my hydro system? If so how?

just submerge in a container with water and very gently dissolve as much soil as you can into the water, not complicated just a delicate thing, take your time

Hi dphipps,

I want to transfer clones from hydro clone bucket into soil. They are still young though some are about a month into rooting that are over a foot long others are just an inch or so. And they've been fed and growing. Before I cause damage I'd love to hear your experiences.

That's an easier transfer than the other way around. Just take them out of the net pots and put them in a pot filled about halfway with soil, fill up the pot while holding the plant up, tap it down a little and water right away. Within a few days she should be over the shock, if there is any.
