More early defoliation

First pic is 4 days ago after her shave, she is doing well (as Green said she would) but I am wondering if the 2 lower fans are still necessary (circled),are they contributing to growth or eating nutes?

I am thinking of cutting them but I don't want to stress too much.

They have the beginnings of their second post topping knuckle (about 3-4 days per new knuckle) so I will be topping them in about 7-9 days per Nebula's manifolding guidelines.

To cut or not to cut, that is the question.

if it was my plant I'd cut those two off and tie down the two heads to form a T...

That will slow down the photosynthesis process and will recover way slower. How is the plant gonna create more leafs when it cannot absorb light. The way I see it its totally unnecessary

They are on small side, I was about to cut them but I was concerned about stress, I did tie them down with some unbent paper clips.

I guess if they aren't budding they aren't taking nutes. Thanks Tika.

Not sure, pretty new grower but having great results thanks to GWE. Only remove sugar/fan leaf if in way of a flower. My personal opinion.
