Micron question for kief

Hello again.
I purchased membrane 25 micron and i want to make some frozen trim about 140 grams and make it kief and then hash. Ididnt do my research for micron scale and now that i have it i sae that trichmomes have 125 micron dimeter . Am j going to have a problem? amd about how much grams of kief can j get from 140 g trim
 
25 micron it's great. It's the samllest size the mesh will catch. Everything smaller than 25 will go thru. Meaning only water will go thru. All the kief will end up on the mesh. What you need is a 220 micron mesh above the 25 so only smaller than 220 go thru and all pieces of leaves or any other contaminant (bugs, hairs, etc) don't mix with the kief
 
Not sure if you guys are referring to bubble bags or just a mesh screen for dry sift..If it is bubble bags I have ordered two different 25 / 23 mic and both were no good..It took weeks for the water to sift and after the second try I just stop with the yellow bags..

I use a 90 micron for my dry ice hash. I'm sure I could get more with a 120 but it cuts down on contamination. 220 is too big. For bubble hash I recommend getting a set of five. 220 filters out the big material anything under 160 is good for catching trichomes. Ditch the 25 micron. It's too small and water takes forever to drain out. 45 is the smallest I use.
 
Thanks 2fast for clarification on the 25 mic / blue bag...So after two bags from different supplier both performed as you stated above....both were absolutely useless.
 
Yes 90-120 for dry sift

I make bubble using 190 or 220 for rough filtering then catch bags of 160 , 45 (main work bag) , you could use a 25 at the end but I’ve found the same problem with water flow and the product isn’t good in my experience anyway so I’ve dropped it. Plenty of people will put the famous 73 micron bag in the middle for the full melt , but I go for the full spectrum 160-45. Plus as a bonus your yield is bigger 😎
