I currently own and operate a resturant. Although I am not farm to table I do grow a lot of our own herbs and produce during the season. My question is when the laws change in 2018 (yes a little optimistic) for recreational use, would I be able to incorporate marijuana into my menu. Also my daughter is my pastry chef and we need a little help of establishing an edible business on the side. I have a grower lined up, retail space lined up. Financing is in check. Just need someone to steer me into the right direction
 
I think your gana have to do alot of research on what your state is gana want from u I tried doing the medical marijuana in cali and edible company but no matter wht it was legal not legal I made money but me and others had our shop raided and weed taken and I was arrested at least 10 times tell we finally closed up the shop when I was faceing a year in jail even after I had beat two felonys the tryd to stick on me I basically had to sign a deal and I couldn't be within a 100 feet of a medical shop in that city so I guess what I'm trying to say is make sure u got all the facts before u stick your business out there like tht as for an edible company I would to it on the side maby delivery get word around by mouth chose a good name and get some nice stickers/ name tags to slap on each treat hope this helps good luck

The lawyer I was refering to was on the tv show Weedequite, search and seizure in michigan. you can find it on youtube too.
