I had an 400 watt MH bulb on my last crop...The bulb would light up for about 5 minutes, or less and go out...It would come back on after awhile, but kept on turning off after a short time..I replaced the bulb with a new one, same problem...When I use an HPS bulb, it works fine...Should I replace the MH bulb again???Or is there something i'm doin' wrong???

The only bad purchase out of the gate for my room was the timer. It could not handle the ballast or the bulb. It was some stupid thing that had 2 settings "18x6" and "12x12".
I went with a Gosund Mini Wifi Smart Plug and it was a game changer. The issues I was having with my lights and ballast disappeared and it was the crappy timer. I bought another bulb too and it was totally unnecessary. And the added benefit of a totally programmable lights set-up accessible on my phone.
