Mephisto freebies grow

MOgrows

New member
Hello, everyone. First time posting to the forums. I'm currently growing two plants from seeds that I received as freebies when I ordered direct from Mephisto. Pics soon to come

Blue Cush is supposed to be a small plant, but I was surprised at how small. I'm hoping to get an ounce out of it. It already smells just like a mango starburst.

Fugue State x Orange Diesel is one that has never been released, but based on the parents I was expecting a bigger plant and it didn't disappoint.

Welcome MOgrows to the land of GWE where you will find all the information you need to complete a grow! It really is a nice place to be! Your grow is coming along real nice! If you don't mind me asking, how far are your lights from the plant canopy (tops)? And if you can, load us up with all your particulars. Tent, lights, nutes , soil, etc. You can even start a grow journal to show off your talent. you can find that info at the top of the forum page. Good Luck! Good Growing !!

Thanks for the welcome Colombo, glad to be here. I'm growing in a 2x4x5 tent with a 400w mh/hps. I'm using the General Hydroponics Flora trio in straight coco. The lights were 10 inches from the canopy in those pics, but I raised it to 14 inches because the Blue Cush wasn't liking it that close. I'll probably just post pics in this thread to finish off this grow, but on the next one I'll do a journal from seed to harvest. Thanks for stopping in to take a look

Hey, everyone! Day 42 update.

Blue Cush is really starting to put on the frost.

It is a little droopy. It didn't start until I switched from mh to hps, so I'm thinking that it just doesn't like the light. I'm about to move it up a couple more inches because the other plants leaves are starting to curl up too

This plant is so far the best one that I've grown. There's a little bit of wind burn on the bottom, but overall I'm pretty happy with it so far. Thanks for stopping in and taking a look

just gathering info (and fairly medicated :D)

when you switch from MH to HPS, is it before, at or after the flip to 12/12?
does my question make sense? :D

when you switch from MH to HPS, do you raise the lights then bring them back down, to let the girls adjust?

These are both autoflowers so no switch to 12/12. I waited until about 2 weeks after the stretch started to switch to hps. I started at 17 inches from canopy because that's what worked on my last grow, I just moved it up and it's at 20 now.

Feel free to gather all the info you need. This is the first forum that I have been a part of, so I know that my information sharing could use some improvements 😀

Hello, everybody! Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far.

Day 49 update

Blue Cush has started putting on some weight. The leaves finally stopped drooping this week, and now I'm thinking it was a humidity issue, and not a light issue. Humidity was in the 30s, and now it's between 40 and 50. I have moved the light down to 14 inches with no negative effects. I've noticed a little tip burn, so I have backed off the nutes a little bit

Fugue State x Orange Diesel is putting on some weight too. It really picked up on the trich production this week, and has finally started smelling like weed. I have noticed some leaves getting lighter, and some purpling on the leaf stems, so I have increased the nutes on this one, and I think I may need to go a little higher even.

When increasing or decreasing fertilizer strength due to under or over feeding, should I keep the same ratio, or only change the amounts of one part of the mix?

I'm using this schedule for the ratios of fertilizer, but with autos the weeks don't always line up the same
