Memphisto run

Great looking girls! BUT... Please get a step-stool; I'd hate to see the next pictures including ones of your foot in a cast ;)

Well you little shit. Checking in on the ladies this morning and saw this droopy tip on forum stomper. Thought it was heavy handed damage until I went to remove it. Think it hitched a ride in on snowcaine when I was trimming her. Only one I see after a good inspection but will keep a strong eye out now.

You seem to know your way around defoliation. This is the time i would remove lower growth an inside leaf alittle at a time, but that's me tellin you what to do LOL an i'm not gunna do that. :)

So day 35. Ladies are doing great. First pic is double grape. Interesting body she's got. Second is sour stomper. She is an aggressive lady that doesn't like wasting time. Third is forum stomper. Looking mighty healthy BUT allow me to point something out. Forum stomper is on blocks. She was the one the lone caterpillar got. And it was the main stem tip. This plant literally stopped growing for an entire day. And that's a lot to an auto flower.

Day 42. So sour stomper started showing signs of nitrogen deficiency and I see some in forum stomper too. I'm not surprised as they are the bushiest two. So I mixed up a Folgers can of compost in five gallons of water and added a teaspoon of epsom salts and gave them a quart each two days ago. No exact science here folks just winging it. Going to top dress with some compost tomorrow about a cup per plant. Again double grape is just over there looking pretty. Definitely showing her afghan heritage.

Goodness. I mean look at all that sexy. And she's just getting riled up.

Time to read the tea leaves folks. Me and #BU2B are thinking either zinc or maybe manganese deficiency most likely due to too high ph. My compost had a lot of seaweed added to it this spring and it was testing in the lower 8s the two times I did a slurry test. I had hoped the soil would buffer it but I think it may be too much. So I'm going to adjust the pH of the water to 6 for a few day and see if this helps.
check out the pics though the red coloring in between the veins has me stumped. It's on a small amount of the new growth of sour stomper but these are fan leaves off of double grape. Interesting. Opinions always welcome.

Day 49. So my compost tea was a little on the strong side as we can see from those lovely frosted tips on the leaves. But we greened back up nicely. Lowering the pH helped to I believe. Forum stomper has finally joined the budding party. She's doing her stretch now. Likely be a 100 day plant at her rate. Sour stomper has slowed her stretch and is filling out fast. Double grape has gone beast mode this past week . She is stretchy, frosty, and ohh soo delicious smelling. Gonna give them tea at half strength every other watering for now and see how they react. And some pics
