Measuring RSO vs dry ice hash?

For a while I have been making dry ice hash and using it for cooking. I am now moving to an area where I will not have access to dry ice and am currently thinking of switching to RSO.

assuming same strains and the guides from this site, does any have any experience in the difference in dosing between the two?

I was hoping for an equal weight situation but I have never played with RSO.

As far as dosing goes, you are comparing oranges to tangerines. You will probably have to do some dose experimenting or titration. But don't let that stop you. Before you get to far into RSO, check out this method:

I use this method with some modifications to produce what I call a live extract oil that imo is far better than RSO and can be used in a wide variety of ways. I use a lab setup that recovers most of the ethanol solvent. Not recovering ethanol as a solvent will get $$$ fast. Recommend using 95% ethanol for this process. Stay safe, ethanol vapors in 95% concentration are extremely flammable.
