mars hydro vs spider farmer

For that size tent you'd be better off with the Mars TS3000 or the Spider SF4000. They're actually having a sale on the TS3000 right now so it's under $400. I have a TS3000 and I will definitely say it was worth getting. If you get either of the models you mentioned, you will only light half a tent that size (60x120). I have the SF2000 in my 2x4' tent and it works great too, but it's meant for that size tent. Either way I don't think you'll be disappointed, but you'll want to make sure you get the right size for your space.

Of the 2, Spiderfarmer is more realistic with the specs they list compared to Mars.
I agree with dphipps that you will need more light for that space than either of those fixtures can provide.
You have approx. 1.5 sq meters of canopy you're trying to light, and cannabis will thrive indoors during flower with a 750 umole/m2/s ppfd intensity.
That means you need a light that is capable of generating about 1200 umoles ppf output.
The sf2000 has 527 umole ppf and the tsw2000(because it has 300 watts, should generate around 600 umole ppf).

I have two 4'x4' tents and use a Platinum LED P4-XML2 in each of them with great results. I haven't tried any of Spider Farmer or Mars' LEDs yet.

I just got the mars hydro sp3000 and while its a good light i feel like light intensity is lacking. I built cobs with chilled pucks for little over 400 bucks that makes mars hydro look like a shoplight.
