Manifolding in a 2x4x5’ tent

and I’m not really sure how long I’ll be vegging. This will be my first time manifolding, but generally I take my time in veg so I can make sure my structures are right... if that helps
 
I'd say 3 or 4. I've done a few manifolds in my tent while LSTs/topping others and they tend to spread out horizontally a bit more (same size tent as yours). I see nebula growing 8 plants in a 2x4x5 and it's pretty impressive. I tend to make my structures more squat though so I don't run out of head room. Currently I have 4 in mine about 4 weeks into veg and I'm curious how crowded it will get in flower
 
Hmmm, I was going to recommend 2. With some training, you could fill out a 2x4 with 2 plants, no problem.
 
2 is probably the safe bet. Less plants but veg longer. I've have mine get tight with 3. Guess it depends how long they want to veg. I'm just getting greedy now trying to do 4 with different strains

Same here. I’m trying to fit 4 strains in my 3x3. Probably should be aiming for half that lol
