Mandarin Gelato growers -Trying to plan for next crop

This is my 4th grow and it's only going so-so...basically due to my lack of experience. I'm still having a blast and learning a ton.

I found, with this grow, Mandarin Gelato (MG) is a BEAST. It's producing the best buds I've grown to date.

Has anyone else got experience to share with MG? Can I expect the same with my next seed? I'm toying with the idea that two MGs will result in a bigger harvest than three of any other of the plants I've grown - Laughing Buddha, Acapulco Gold, Alaskan Purple, Cheese, Skunk, Zombie Death Fuck, Golden Tiger X Panama (current) and Critical XXL, plus my first crop of autos. MG crushes the yields (already). The tentative harvest window won't be for at least 25 days (advertised). So, if anyone else has experience with MG, I'd like to hear it!

Will keep that in mind yields are better as we get more knowledge about what the plants like and don't like. I'm guessing she likes what your giving her :)

That's just it, I'm a lazy grower. I stick with the General Hydroponics trio and Calmag supplement. I agree that I have learned (thank you for your guidance). The only change I made with this grow is I used 5 gallon smart pots, instead of 3 gallon ones, except for my Golden Tiger X Panama. It's in a 3 gallon smart pot, kind of as a growth limiting strategy...only partially successful.

As I write, I think I'm just going with two of the Mandarin Gelatos, for my next crop. I'm craving elbow room in my tent.

Ya think that 5gal did make a big difference in quantity? Hmm wondering if i don't veg my photos as long as i unusually do say only 6 weeks i'm comfortable running 4 in my 4x4 of photos but in 3gal pots. My GSC in 3gal. are pretty small for photos they only vegged 6wks works really good in my tent. I like the elbow room too with smaller containers easy for me to lift also.

SoOrbudgal - The jury is still out on the 5 gallon pots. I'm going to try and do a better job next grow. I got lazy with this time. I should have trained the Mandarin Gelato and should have been more vigilant with my Golden Tiger X Panama.

Hey BR2K it's been a wild grow year. I've been lazy too with this tent grow not really done anything other than feed and release the tie downs cause these GSC just stayed short and not really minding it just ready to take a break. We need breaks i do anyway i need one less thing to be watching over got to focus on other life wise needs. P.S. mine are healthy so very easy just not big LOL
