I am so attached to my massive plant that I thought was from a feminized seed but alas, it’s MALE 🥵😭. I need to post a pic so someone will tell me to cut it down. Otherwise, I don’t think I’ll be able to bring myself to do it! Seriously attached to this plant, so devestated

So sorry for your loss here amy24 but in the interest of your lady plants go out now and do it quick! Then get it far away downwind or burn it if you can. You can cry later.

I know you suggested burning, but can I compost it??? A friend told me to make oil but seems like a lot of work?

Hi Amy, remember that the pollen can and probably will continue to release inside the black bag so treat it like a bomb! Keep tightly sealed and don't tear it. Pollen is like flour in the wind.

Facts.... painful but it has to be removed asap or any pollen residue anywhere has the potential to ruin a grow.

Stuff it wet in a black garbage bag and set it in the sunshine, in just a day or 3 it will melt.
It has been "The Year of The Male" everyone is telling me they had more males than ever before.
I fell your pain, I cut down 3-10 footers in a patch of 4.

Thank you @Rwise!!! I only had the four so lesson learned, I’ll never use random seeds again, only feminized!!! I swore this one was at first in my anger but then remembered that I had used some random ones from last years plants. I have it in a garbage bag right now, I’ll add some water, then pour it into my compost.
