How long can I wait, from this stage the plant is at now, until it risks other plants?
Also curious to what would happen to a veg plant?

Howdy yellow, I think that the plant is a 'husky' boy! Sorry, but, chop it down, unless You do want seeds (if there is a female plant around)!

Looks like you may be just a tad to late, they look opened, you can see the little pollen teeth, just before the little flower. Great

Then it won’t be a problem. But there no use for a male unless you are making seeds. And that requires a flowering female. So better to get rid of it and focus on female plants

Thanks peeps! Eliminated that pesky male.
I understand the threat to female plants, but what threat does a male pose to a plant in veg?

I don’t believe that’s true at all. Is not true in any plant or animal. Sex is determined genetically as the seed forms during cell duplication. That’s why you can take a seedling branch and get it dna rested to know the sex

The comment about the seedling branch makes no sense. Especially since you have to grow the plant out past the point of sex determination (first few weeks of life) in order to cut a branch. Hey believe what you will. I get great numbers. Seems like you needed a little advice on that 5m - 1f ratio. Good luck with what you are doing. ✌️
