Male plants for seed production

Greeting everyone, I'm still waiting for my beans from southern Oregon seeds. In the future if I grew purposely a male plant of my favorite strain for its seeds. Would the weed from it be worth smoking? Does anyone out here grow their own seeds? For planting purposes or maybe even to sell? Just curious...... My mind is on " fast forward" with thoughts waiting for my seeds. This will be my very first grow. Thanks for any thoughts or ideas. Peace2ALL

U can do that but who wants seedy buds? U may get more than u bargained for,and the seeds may turn out to be no good anyway.if u could separate and just do one girl and one boy as a test case.u could always do it again as supplies dwindle down.just my .02 cents

you could do that but it will lower your potency ,I hung a t5 with a uva bulb in it in my bloom room on same schedule as my hps and it caused the plants to hermie so I got seeds just in the top colas. I also had a male in bloom room and when I saw it cut it down and out to late it pollinated everything in the room so be carefull
