Male or female

Didn't do 12-12 this year because it put them all in permanent flower mode (maybe that wasn't bad). I should know by now but nope. Which is what? # 1 looks definitely male but many others have that single spike not 2, can't remember what its called. It's damn near Aug. shouldn't they be flowering?

Howdy 7vicsmcc, The 'spikes' are called stipules, don't know what they do, but they are there. As Melissinmass said "another few days and You'll know for sure".
