Making Feminized Seeds

Yeah, this is kinda the same and not serious breeding by any stretch of the imagination. I'm already doing it for myself and it's so easy to pollinate a bit more to be able to share with others so I decided to start this thread and do a show and tell so people would be able to see the exact plants being bred and process so it seems a bit less mysterious than just a random dude offering homebred seeds although that is what it is lol. It started with me just wanting to create feminized S1 seeds so I don't have to worry about running out. Then I thought I might as well pollinate a couple of small buds on each of the other plants knowing the crossed offspring could vary wildly and it's almost like mystery seeds but at least we know the parents and have an idea of the possibilities. I also only chose 1 strain to put on all the others rather than reverse more than one strain at a time just in case there is any accidental pollination we still know the pollinator with certainty.

I too would be in for few seed, I have some femed Mazar I can send you. I may have some autos as well,,,

Would love to run any seeds by FBL (or anybody that I "know", TBH)

alas, I am in Canada, and expect an immediate pass (which is fine, send them to a good pot 😁 )

Good on you, for intentionally doing it (making seeds)

Holy smokes I knew it had been a while but didn't think I had let this go over a month. I've been harvesting the first round of seeds and have already started 3 plants with seeds made from this run so I've verified that they're viable.

What do you use as a method of extracting the seed from the flower and surrounding plant material. It took me a very long time to sort the plant and seed cleanly

Wow !! That's a bunch of seeds. Auto-flowers, right ? Congratulations !! I love to see a man be successful with his project.

Farmall I'm in a hurry to help people and I'm making QWISO with these plants so I didn't want to wait until they were very dry to crumble and separate. I do it about halfway through the drying process and I do a pretty thorough trim to get leaves out of the way then gently dig 'em out with a toothpick and add fingers when necessary. While the process is so inefficient, time consuming and laborious not to mention "lost" resin on my hands, snips and toothpicks (I start clean and make like a charas afterwards) that I think few would feel that it is worth it. Nothing is wasted but my time and energy though (and that would only be in most folk's pov) as I compost the fan leaves, add some sticky stems to a tea, Qwiso first run quick with best buds for dabs then reran added to the rest of trim for edible oil and of course, free autofem seeds for everyone.

Eliot Pryor Yep, this batch is all autoflower.

Well then that is what I did to extract the seed...I was hoping there is a trick I may have overlooked.... seeing the large baggie, I fully understand the labor pains.

That's the freshest pickings from the selfed Lemon Skunk, I have not counted them yet. The other small/mid bags contain a total of 350 Lemon Skunk x Strawberry Cheesecake. I have to start picking on an even better Lemon Skunk probably day after tomorrow as well then I get a break from seed digging for a couple weeks or so.
