Making a hydro cloner

Absolutely should. They are standing up like that cuz they soooooo happy. Just don't let them stretch up too much too fast.
 
A tupperware cake carrier lid might fit. Or a deli platter cover, like for a shrimp cocktail ring, might also fit. You might find one of those glass donut tray covers at a thrift store.

Thanks ABT unfortunately some things are just impossible to find in Canada.... not sure why but it really gets in the way of getting stuff at a reasonable price
 
Thanks DAAS that’s the plan. I have never seen clones perk up like that. Every time iv taken a cutting they get droopy
 
I've had some plants do that. In my case the light was too bright. My guess is they were trying to limit the surface area exposed to the light. Not saying that's the case with yours, but it's something to watch. Mine were also full plants, not clones.
 
Ok Walt I’ll keep an eye on that. To me they look happy as can be. They are in a 4x4 tent with 240w LED, not in the “direct” light. I am going to keep a lil journal in this thread kind of so you can all see if it works ok or not
 
So the cuttings have been in the cloner for 6 days and they look good! I changed the 3 blue nozzles for 3 more red they move more water. What do you guys think?

That's badass!. I'm also doing a DIY version of an OxyClone, using an aerating circulator pump in the reservoir and the stems hanging down in the water. If that doesn't work, I'm building a spray manifold like yours.
 
Thank you dingus. I figured the extra oxygen with the misting nozzles would be better. I almost did one like you describe but the cost would have been almost the same so I went with what I thought would work better. I got the same nozzles as they use in the ez clone.
