LST right or wrong?

Hello fellow growers first timer here and was wanting to know if I did this right. I bent main cola over to side and tied to bamboo stick. I did this to 4 of my girls. I took some pictures hopefully you can tell from them. Please let me know if I did anything wrong?

If you didn't break it off, and it's at the height you want....ya done good! The idea is to get the tops of the secondary branches at the same level as the main, and get them filling out.

What HappyDaze said. The first time I LSTd it felt super weird and unclear. But once you see how it responds it makes a lot of sense.

LST should happen throughout the vegetation stage so that you can train the soft, new parts of the stems and get a lot of bud sites to come up and be at the same height before you flip to flower.

That is how ya do it then strap down the arms. Dang that sounds abit heavy handed but you want to do it while there soft and tender. The bud sites are gonna point right up and grow into colas if all goes well. Looking good

CC, next time start LST when they are still small. So you have time to grow lots of colas. Eventually you want them to look like pic.2

No breaks thankfully. I had one person tell me to supercrop instead for a bigger yield. Is there a big difference in yields between the two techniques? I want to learn just nervous about high-stress techniques so prefer to do it only if it makes a big difference.

Yeah I wasn't planning on training at all but read that I really should be. So that's why it's a late start but definitely plan to start early next time

This plant was LST trained only and developed 9 colas. 3 months since seed sprouted. I think LST works well

Next step is figuring out how to support them when the colas start putting on weight. They're lanky.
