Lower the wattage during the last couple weeks.?

I'm sure this has been asked before, I'm currently in the last week's on first grow and was wondering if there is any advantage or disadvantages in lowering wattage on ballasts at this stagein the grow. Thanks

Disadvantages, yes. As long as your flowers are still developing, they will benefit from more light, not less, and as a rule grow bigger, denser, heavier, and stickier with more light.
