Lower budsite removal

Still trying to figure which lower budsite to remove in early flower. Some side branches are able to grow to top of canopy but others don't and I wonder if I wait too long to trim. This photo is a good example. Should I have removed the 1/2 dozen or so, lower buds on plant? They will be small, no doubt, and there are more in the middle but if I had removed them would it have helped main colas develope more? Also, how late in flower can they be removed and still benefit main colas?

Wow, puravida, all things considered, your main colas look fantastic, phat, great!! But yeah, that's the principle: remove bud sites that won't get enough light to be substantial so that all the energy goes into the main colas...

Puravida here is one of my girls you can kinda see the lollypoping on the lower branches as a rule any bud that is below the top cola can be removed I take mine in week 1-3 and keep up with it till harvest the other thing to try is to let the lowers grow and when the main colas are ready take them and leave the lower buds to fatten up and rippen

Because of need for stealth I have to dry in my grow box with fan/filter running or I would try selective harvesting. I see lower bud sites on yours too but you have defoliated way more than me and you have stronger lights too. I get to try out my 315 LEC after this grow and hoping for better light penetration and bud development!
