Lost my best friend

Lost my dog to cancer yesterday. She was 12 years old and I'm going to miss her alot.

I am so sorry kingfish. Pets bring great joy into our lives. We lost our pet parrot, Sunbeam, to a freak accident in May. We had her for 43 years, since she was 16 weeks old. Still hurts.
 
So very sad Kingfish...cancer sux. I had a cairn named Rocky. Lost him to cancer on Thanksgiving day 2017. I think about him everyday. Cherish the memories.

Shit man. Definitely a family member. So sorry. My cat is 12 now so trying to come to grips with what's coming. I know I'm going to cry like a school girl when its time. Again so sorry.
 
Family pets are just that..Family. Had to put down our 13yo dog back in April. Tough times still. Sorry for your loss. You gave her a loving home and great life. I’m sure.

Probably the best way to say how I wish to convey my thoughts and condolences. I'll refrain from my own experiences but definitely know how you are both feeling.
 
I'm retired now but worked at a veterinary hospital for years. Euthanasia was definitely the hardest part of the job. So sorry for your loss.
