Looking for a LOW THC strain...

Okay - here's my situation...
Can't smoke what I grow (been giving to family & friends) due to being drug tested at my job.
Bullshit I say. I live in a legal state. I can drink till I puke but I can't smoke a fattie with my son? Come on now...
So I smoke a little. Usually a week or two after my last drug test. Been THC positive on one already so I'm sure they are watching me.
THC is so high on the plants I have grown in the past (White Widow, GSC, Northern Lights & others) that after 2-3 tokes I have forgotten my name.
What is a LOW THC breed? Look at any decent seed seller and they offer 100eds of seeds. And most people want a high THC breed and not a low. I would like to smoke a whole doobie and ENJOY the experience/taste when I do puff away. Thanks!
 
Thanks. Actually my next grow is going to be a CBD breed. Hopefully will help with my sore old knees.

What I'm looking for here is just a low THC breed so when I do want to buzz I can without having to stop after 2 hits. The taste is so good I would like to smoke the entire J before saying "I'm happy"

Harvest early or havest late? Is there any difference???
 
Pretty sure early is kinda zippy, effects go away sooner. Later more body on the couch. But I'm still figuring it out myself.
 
I don't like speedy and always happens at least to me when i smoke cloudy trichs. I need alittle bit of amber but i prefer a whole lot.
 
Thanks all! I think with the next THC plant I will try a bit of each. A few buds early, a few on time and a few late. Good advise, thanks!
 
This is an outdoor grow 3 years ago (maybe 2?). Strain: Pink Kush CBD 30:1 Auto breeder Seedsman. Not particularly a fan of Seedsman since they lie about the parentage of their strains but this was a good grow (free seed, too).

I hear growers complain that their crop tests too high in THC and they're saying it's because the females weren't harvested early enough.

Seedsman advertised this strain as 30 to 1 for CBD/THC which is probably nonsense but on the other side of the coin there are plenty of labs that lie about % results so they get repeat business - this is really bad in Oklahoma, can't trust any %. EDIT: this is a snapshot taken from my Instagram account since I can't find the original photo.
 
The only way to know is to do it yourself. Lab test report. Can't take anyone's word about it.
 
Like I wrote, first you have to find an honest lab. And I don't know any non-commercial grower that has the money or inclination to do a lab test on every grow. Certainly nobody can rely on the advertised % of a strain - if (and that's a big IF) they have accurate lab results their grow was managed under conditions and expertise the typical home grower doesn't have.
 
PeterMatanzas good points. Your Pink Kush is a very pretty lady!

I want a buzz. So I still want the THC flowers. Just don't want the STRONG flower. And I do plan to grow some CBD for my pains.

I want to hear from someone who's grow and said 'well this tasted great but not much of a buzz' Since I don't get a chance to smoke that often when I do I want to enjoy it before getting wasted.
 
That's kind of what I meant, run it yourself. Unfortunately I do not have access to a mas spec.
 
Ckbrew What do you mean you don't have a mass spec? Good seed, soil, nutes, water, light, mass spec. How do you even know you're growing weed without one. I thought a MS was in everyone's personal grow pantheon.
 
I never had one, but I know someone who used to have regular access to one. Things change.
