SOIL Little Black Flys!

New member
I have some little black flys appearing in my nursery. Some of the plants are in Rockwool and some in soil. The Rockwool had a bad case of green algae before I bought some black/white to guard the Rockwool against the light. I normally wouldn't be too nervous about a few flys but my partner is worried because he has heard stories about growers having to flush their plants with a hydrogen peroxide mix. Please give me some of your thoughts on this?

The sticky yellow trap sheets work.... I ve used living soil for the last several grows and that seems to yield a ton of fungus gnats. You can use diatomaceous earth on the soil surface, let the soil dry up before watering again and try the traps
