If you look in the tutorial section you will find some simple, effective plant training methods. Highly recommended.

Ok will do thanks for the info and ya will take a look at training methods thanks for help much appreciated

Ya man website is a life saver with everyone's knowledge and just one other question What sort of yield do you think I will get of this size plant ?

If you keep it the way it is now with no training maybe an ounce...hard to say how big that top Will get by itself.

So....train it right away = more bud

I agree with the others that your plant and setup looks good, and I also agree that training makes a huge difference in yields! Here's some more info about training if you're interested in learning more :)

With a 250W HPS, it's good to keep the light a little less than a foot away (as long as it's not too hot). From the picture it looks like you're a good distance away. If you put your hand where the top of the plant is for 30 seconds and it feels okay to you, it's probably okay for your plant :)

Ok if the plant is in week two of flowering is it still ok to bend at main stem or is it to late ?

At some point in this growing thing we do, we will eventually all get one of those laser thermometers. They are getting cheaper now and I got one at Harbor Freight (with a coupon) for $29 U.S. I think it was I have not used it yet for growing, but after burning some of my plants last season I expect this to be a good tool for setting light distance.

I got mine on Amazon $6.21 and free shipping! Same model HF sells too.
