Is it ok to change light style 4/5 weeks in? they are both LED only different styles change is because of heating issues

I for one would need a little clarity on what you mean ie swapping out MH for HPS or one light fixture for another or switching form MH / HPS to LED

They are booth LED. I want to switch fixtures one has fans and runs about 5 degrees warmer then the flat panel light that has no fans on it. I want to get rid of the light with fans do to heat and maybe save on electricity some

I don't see why not as long as it's near the same spectrum with the diodes.
