I put my plants outside the grow room and turn off the lights in the morning. I keep track of the light in my green house with my growers meter and if the available sunlight light gets less than my lightsd due to cloud coverage and/or fog I will move them back inside and turn on the lights and timer. I'm currently on the veg light schedule (18/6). Does anyone see issues with this. I've had success in the past. Growing at 1700 meters in Central America.

I don't see a problem lucky you Ritmojoe great weather hopefully. Do you have a bug issue ever indoors when they've been outdoors? That's the only problem I see, then do you do the same with flowering 12/12? Welcome to GWE forum
