When would you replace a Philips 315w bulb? It's been going 12 hours/day 7 days a week. Has about 8400 hours. Just wondering if it needs replaced.

According to this merchant, bulb is at 90% at 8,000 hours. I’m not sure how much spectrum change that will create. You can run it a bit longer...but would consider replacing if you can afford it.

Nothing beats new bulbs. If it's not a huge cost issue for you, do it. I change my HPS after three veg and two flower cycles.
