Lightning Bugs!?!

As a kid I luved catching these flashing bugs, now I am finding them all in my plants/buds! I have looked a bit and found nothing that says they are harmful, nor anything that says they are helpful. So I am asking all y'all whats your thoughts on lightning bugs, bad or not?
 
They sometimes sit in my sticky resin in the sugar leaves on the outdoors plant. Like they are glued and died on the leaf.
doesn’t seems to harm my plants 🤔
 
I have found them stuck. But I don’t believe they are harmful in any way they just like the cover a pot plant affords them.
